Currently residing in San Francisco, Barry Brukoff studied sculpture, painting, and design at the Chicago Art Institute. He has directed the publication of six photographic books on the ancient cultures of Morocco (1993), Greece (2004), Macchu Picchu (2001), Angkor Wat (2011), and Stonehenge (1980); his forthcoming book will explore the Mayan civilization. Collaborating with iconic artists and writers like John Fowles and Henry Moore, Brukoff has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades throughout his long career. His photography has been the subject of exhibitions across the country and is included in major private and public collections including the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.
